This section we let professoressa Rita Levi-Montalcini, Nobel laureate, explain the science around the molecule she identified as a breakthrough: palmitoylethanolamide. Prof. Montalcini has become 103 and published her last paper in 2012, the year she passed away. A great icon of neurology and science and this website is a tribute to her work.
We see the grand old lady as the nestor of neurobiology in these cartoons explaining many scientific facts while she was around 100 years old. The cartoons are inspired by many life video fragments, and we tried to capture her high intelligence as well as her exquisite taste for decorum and fashion.
