Case report:

Neuralgia treated by palmitoylethanolamide

Neuralgia treated by palmitoylethanolamide

Discussion and conclusions:

Our case is the first treated with palmitoylethanolamide, previously used in treatment of neuralgiform pain such as trigeminal neuralgia. The relative safety of this drug should recommend its use as a first step in treatment of headaches with a certain involvement of trigeminal nerve.
